He’s home now. There is the lingering vestiage of infection in his elbow, but I think he finally beat this staph. Here are a few things that I learned during the past 2 weeks:
- Nurses are angels.
- Men are not good patients, but they will consent to treatment when the wife insists.
- How to vaccuum the swimming pool.
- A 2-hour nap in your husband’s arms in a hospital bed is more refreshing than 6 hours at home.
- A true friend not only watches your kids, but also washes your dishes.
- Sometimes, the laundry just has to wait.
- Don’t forget to feed the dog.
- UNO + jigsaw puzzles + 2 children = quality family time.
